Quotes & Pricing

Getting a quote

How do I request a freight quote?

Use the quote form on any page of this website or call 470-380-6728. Include pickup and delivery locations, dates, commodity, weight, dimensions, equipment needs and any special requirements.

How quickly will I receive a quote?

Most quotes are returned quickly once we have complete shipment details. Urgent and expedited requests are handled first, so call us if your freight needs to move today.

What affects the price of my shipment?

Rates depend on distance and lane, equipment type, weight and dimensions, timing, current market capacity, fuel and any accessorial services such as liftgate, detention, extra stops or inside delivery.

What are accessorial charges?

Accessorials are charges for services beyond standard pickup and delivery, such as liftgate, residential or limited-access delivery, appointments, detention time, extra stops or layovers. Telling us about these up front keeps your quote accurate.

Choosing A Service

Which service fits my freight?

When should I use expedited freight?

Use expedited freight when timing is critical: production-critical parts, missed connections or urgent customer orders. Your shipment moves on a dedicated vehicle directly from pickup to delivery.

Cargo van, Sprinter van or straight truck: which do I need?

A cargo van typically handles up to about 2 pallets and 2,000 lbs. A Sprinter van handles up to about 3 pallets and 3,250 lbs and taller freight. A straight truck handles larger palletized shipments, up to about 10 pallets.

Should I ship LTL or full truckload?

As a general guideline, about 1 to 6 pallets often fits LTL, while about 10 or more pallets or a full trailer is usually better as full truckload. Send us the details and we will compare options.

What is the difference between drayage and intermodal?

Drayage is the short truck move of a container to or from a port or rail terminal. Intermodal is a door-to-door move that combines rail for the long haul with drayage at each end.

Can you ship temperature-controlled or oversized freight?

Yes. We arrange refrigerated capacity for frozen, chilled and controlled ambient freight, and flatbed, step deck and specialized equipment for heavy, tall or oversized loads.

During Transit

Tracking, delivery and claims

Will I receive updates while my shipment is in transit?

Yes. We confirm pickup, provide updates while your freight is moving and confirm delivery. You can call our team any time for a status update.

Will I receive proof of delivery?

Yes. Proof of delivery is provided after delivery for your records.

How should I prepare freight for pickup?

Package freight securely, palletize and shrink-wrap where possible, label every piece clearly and have the bill of lading and any special instructions ready when the driver arrives.

What happens if my freight is damaged?

Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt, take photos and contact us right away. We will help you file and follow up on the claim with the carrier.
